Due to the success to the HF Waxes with the Swix BD Additive, the Cera nova Category 2 Group is expanded by the addition of HF10BW. Black, +10°C to 0°C (50°F to 32°F). The softest wax in the Black Wolf -line. The preferred choice on wet, dirty, coarse-grained snow as a base for Swix Cera F FC10 or FC10B0. Recommended iron temperature setting of 110°C (230°F). This is an Excellent wax for new wet snow mixed with older man made snow.
For very wet conditions. Falling wet snow, rain, and a water saturated snow surface. At these temperatures dirt in the snow is often concentrated at the surface, therefore HF10 is best used with Cera F FC10 as an overlayer.
Temperature Range: +10° to 0°C
For high humidity. Durable yet still easy to iron and scrape. For very coarse-grained snow and new snoe, or newly made man-made snow over a warm, moist snowpack. The BW solid lubricant resists penetration of sharp snow crystals. Also very resistant to dirt in the snow.
Temperature Range: -2° to -8°C
HF7X is one of the most widely used waxes in the Cera Nova System. It is durable yet easy to iron and scrape. It makes an excellent base layer before applying Cera F FC7. Its wide range falls within a common winter-time temperature. And, from “7” it is easy and effective to make warmer or colder adjustments with overlayers.
Temperature Range: -2° to -8°C
For high humidity. Especially good when there is new snow covering a moist snow pack. Also used when the snow is very coarse-grained and abrasive caused by warming then cooling. Highly water and dirt repellent.
Temperature Range: +1° to -4°C
After several years of research and testing, we are proud to launce our new High Velocity Cera Warm (HVC Warm) for those who want to go really fast. - This new super liquid has proven itself on the racing scene with top results in World Cup, and we are very satisfied with the positive feedback we have got, from both biathlon, cross country and alpine, says product manager Harald Bjerke. - We knew that the HVC Warm was very good based on our own test results, but it’s clearly a strength that the product so quickly was embraced by the service teams and racers on the top-level, he adds.
+3°C to -5°C (38°F to 23°F). A very flexible klister with silver, working on both
sides of freezing when conditions are changing
between coarse and transformed moist to wet
fine grained snow.
For coarse, granular snow changing from wet to crust. This is your “get out of jail free card” for Australia’s changing snow conditions. Apply a thin layer for ice and a thicker layer for wet snow.
Temperature Range: +10° to -3°C (50° to 27°F)
