The New Crispi Evo Boot has Arrived for the NTN System

22/07/2008

In only and handful of runs last weekend it was quite evident how direct and precise this boot and binding combination is. Rottefella is onto something here with the holy grail nearly achieved (step in and releasable) it was incredibly refreshing how easy the system was to get in and out of, no fumbling for leashes with thick gloves or cold hands. Unreal! - From the Snowgum Team

These boots are available for Demo and will be able to be tested at the Falls Creek Freeheel Festival on August 2nd and 3rd. We have two set-ups available to try, one on a K2 World Piste skis and the other on the new Black Diamond Machine skis. There is no charge for the testing during the Freeheel Festival. Look forward to seeing you there.

A new combined boot-binding system with a new anchor point in the front part of the boot that guarantees a better ski control thanks to a smaller torsion lever. The boot softness combined with the rigidity of the CRISPI Carbon Side Support improves the performance in the racing as well as in the free-ride use.

For the first time binding and boot producers have an integrated binding/boot system offering a precision and ski control that could be called revolutionary.

The NTN System Offers:

  • Increased Comfort
  • Increased feeling of steering control
  • Improved edge control and forward flex
  • Symmetrical binding (no left or right binding)
  • Movable binding in the ski’s longitudinal direction
  • Release function
  • Ski break
  • Improved uphill walkability
  • The boot may be used with crampons

The new technology in binding and boot gives increased self confidence and control that has to be experienced! Telemark testers all over the world agree that this is the telemark of the future.

The Binding for the Crispi Evo NTN is the Rottefella NTN.

NTN Binding is a Rottefella patented telemark system. The Crispi Evo NTN Boot has been developed in close cooperation with Rottefella.

The NTN is a binding for Telemark Freeride Skiing, that gives the rider unparralled edge control and a variety of user benefits. It offers the simplicity and security of an alpine binding without sacrificing  the freedom of the heels. Leaving the traditional 75mm duckbill behind, the progressive New Telemark Norm (NTN), splits from the herd to redifine free heel technology. Easier, smoother and stronger, the binding’s construction and performance is unlike anything you have ever skied.
