What started as a name yelled at a friend while face deep in the Wasatch White has evolved very little over the past decade. Powderwhore is simply a term or symbol of one’s commitment to the great white deep. Over the past few years we’ve filmed our pursuits and the footage has been seen through other outlets. This year we’re doing our own thing and the result is PW05.

We’re supposed to use this space to convince you to buy our movie. Whatever. Need new gloves? Buy them instead. Ski movies are just substitutes for the real thing anyway. PW05 is simply about what happens once the snow falls and – as far as we’ve seen – that experience can’t be captured in a box, although we’ve tried hard to do so. Through deep powder, off steep summits and chutes, into the park, and back again. We had a pretty amazing season and we hope you enjoy watching what we’ve captured as much as we enjoyed making it.
