NTN will for the season 07/08 be available in large sizes (26,5 and up). The small size boot and binding (26,0 and down) will be available for the season 08/09.

NTN will be available with or without a ski brake. The ski brake is easily mounted. The standard ski brake is 95 mm wide, extra 110mm wide ski brake may be bought separately.

In order to adapt NTN according the correct boot size, weight and skiing preferences, 4 separate spring kits are available.

NTN is a Rottefella patented telemark system, where Rottefella has developed the binding and the boot has been developed by Scarpa and Crispi in close cooperation with Rottefella.

NTN offers a number of advantages to the skier: 

• Increased ski contact through better lateral stability
• Far better edge control through and exiting turns
• Smoother and better forward flex in the binding and boot
• Skistopper in 2 different withs

NTN is a modern binding offering:

• Easy entry and exit, operated from front
• Symmetric boot/binding, no left or right foot
• Alpine Touring function, walking without forward flex resistance
• Boots with good walking- and skiing comfort.

NTN offers a unique sideways release mechanism placed in the center under the foot.

Release:
The sideways release system of the NTN binding is not certified according to the ISO standard. The release values will depend on the choice of the compression springs and the tightening of the cable. Though the release mechanism may help to reduce injuries in a bad fall, Rottefella does not guarantee any certain release or retention value.

NTN Power tubes
The selection of power tubes (springs) depends largely on the size of the boot, skiing style and skiing area. Rottefella has developed new spring technology consisting of soft (blue), medium (orange), and ridged (lime green) springs.
