Epic Fabric Explained:
Natural fill materials must be dry to enable them to loft properly. When wet, natural fill material sleeping bags offer very little warmth. Epic fabric enables your bag to perform in a wider range of conditions.
Epic by Nextec fabric is a technical shell fabric which has a very high water resistance whilst maintaining excellent breathability which is what makes it great for use in damp conditions. It is produced from the inside out using a revolutionary process that allows an extremely soft and supple fabric. Individual fibers of fabric are encapsulated with an ultra-thin polymer film. Then a durable, breathable barrier film is placed between the fiber bundles.
The inside-the-fabric process means that wash after wash, year after year, the fabric maintains its breathability, thermal efficiency and remains truly water repellent, to keep your sleeping-bag warm and dry.
